It all began in 1933, when our grandparents, Rafael and Amalia, opened their small glove shop at 12 Recoletos Street in Madrid.

Rafael, a passionate craftsman, designed and made gloves with exceptional precision and sensitivity. Amalia, meanwhile, had a remarkable gift for listening, understanding, and helping each customer find exactly what they were looking for. Together, they made their gloves sought after both in Spain and abroad.

As children, we grew up surrounded by leather offcuts, cardboard patterns, and hand-shaped cutting dies, learning not only the craft itself but also the values behind it: dedication, attentive service, and excellence. Although our family shop closed its doors at the beginning of this century, the spirit of that project has always remained with us.

RETURNING TO OUR ROOTS

In 2016, we decided to revive our family's heritage under our grandmother's name: Amalia de Luna. A brand that honours our origins while preserving traditional craftsmanship and adapting it to the modern world.

Our gloves are designed in Spain and handcrafted in family-run workshops in Spain and Italy, where the art of glove making is still very much alive. We believe in limited, ethical and sustainable production, using the finest leathers and paying meticulous attention to every detail, something you'll notice from the very first touch.
