Craftsmanship
The art of making gloves, without rushing.
Amalia de Luna continues to make gloves as we did in 1933: with our hands, with patience, and with soul.
Our workshops in Spain and Italy preserve a living legacy, where each artisan brings their experience and care to every stitch. We create unique pieces with meticulous attention to every detail.
-
DESIGN THAT FEELS
Classic, contemporary, always authentic.
Our gloves are created in a range of styles, colors, and finishes, from classic elegance to the most contemporary offerings.
Each glove is handmade, one by one. Responsible production that respects the craft and ensures authenticity, quality, and personality.
-
THE SKIN OUR CANVAS
It all starts with choosing a high-quality leather, chosen for its softness and flexibility.
Each leather is unique, and slight variations or marks are part of its history, its natural beauty. This makes each glove a unique piece.
The leather is moistened, smoothed with a knife, and stretched by hand, gradually achieving perfect elasticity and a second-skin fit.
-
CUTTING, SEWING, IRONING
With the leather ready, we place the pattern, mark the outline, and cut it out with scissors. Then, we use dies to shape the leather, respecting the material as much as possible. We use traditional French carvings.
The glove is sewn by hand or machine, always by expert hands. Stitch by stitch. And finally, it's ironed, at which point every detail is checked.
-
TOOLS WITH HISTORY
Our artisans continue to use traditional tools. Those that have been with us for generations:
- The dull knife.
- The dies.
- The slate stone.
- The tool for reducing the skin.
- The footer in French inches.
- The leather sewing machine.
- And the hand-shaped irons.
An accessory with soul
And so, slowly but passionately, we bring to life gloves that last for generations.
A simple, elegant, timeless accessory that accompanies and protects, and that speaks volumes without words.
